- In the first three episodes, the variety acts at the end of the episode are introduced as follows:
In episode 1, Alfredo is introduced by Ronnie Barker's Hearing Aid sketch character, leading to Ronnie Corbett's character briefly coming back into the room.
In episode 2, Jo, Jac & Joni walk through the set of the Tarzan seeks Jane Sketch.
In episode 3, at the end of Mr Partridge's Radio 4 stomach, a second patient walks in. When the doctor states the sketch has ended, the man reveals it is an emergency, as he has caught television. He then opens his shirt to reveal a TV screen, which shows Ronnie Barker announcing Georges Schlick. - In all but the last episode, the opening news section ends with a remark about looking at the state of the party.
